I-Sites is maintained by a partnership among
the Office of the State Archaeologist at the University of Iowa,
the GIS Facility at Iowa State University, and
the Division of Cultural Affairs, State Historical Society of Iowa.
I-Sites was created with a grant from the National
Park Service's National Center for Preservation Technology and Training 
The public access Internet Map Server was developed by the
Center for Agriculture, Research, and Environmental Systems
and is currently hosted by the GIS Facility at ISU.
