- The following series occur in NRCS Map Units on footslopes and alluvial fans where the Corrington Member is typically found.
- On such landforms, if a buried soil is present, the sediments are Corrington; if absent, the sediments are Gunder Member.
- NRCS Map Units for some of these series also occur in upland drainageways and stream terraces. Corrington Member (usually early-middle Holocene in age)
- The unit consists of vertically stacked, fining upward sediment packages.
- At least one buried soil is present, typically at the top of fining upward sequencies.
- Unit is found beneath alluvial fans and colluvial slopes along the margins of large- and moderate-sized valleys.
- Deposited between about 9000 and 2500 years before present.
